In May 1975 the first issue of Christian Womanhood came off the presses. Christian Womanhood Publications was founded by the late Marlene Evans (1933-2001) and is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. Christian Womanhood was America’s first newspaper designed to meet the needs of women and girls with the goal of inspiring and instructing them to be used of God in the home and in the local, fundamental, Bible-believing church.
Christian Womanhood is a magazine designed to strengthen the Christian walk of ladies all over the world so that they might have a profound and positive influence on their husbands, families, and local churches.
